Knowledge Base (FAQ)
This database compiles verified information from the official TorZon support channels, user guides, and administrative announcements. It is divided into sectors for ease of navigation.
Section I: Financial Protocols
1. Which cryptocurrencies can I use here? Official
At the moment we are supporting Bitcoin (BTC) and Monero (XMR). While BTC is supported for legacy users, XMR is highly recommended for its privacy features (RingCT).
2. When will my coins be credited? Official
Bitcoin: After the first confirmation from the blockchain. This usually takes 10-60 minutes depending on network congestion.
Monero: After 10 confirmations. This is a protocol requirement to prevent chain reorganization attacks. Approx 20 minutes.
3. Can I deposit twice at the same address? Official
The system generates a new deposit address for every new transaction. If you falsely do two deposits to the same address, you will need to create a support ticket. No worries though, we'll reward the credit on your account after manual verification.
4. Why is my deposit showing "Unconfirmed"?
If you sent the funds with a low fee, miners may ignore your transaction until the mempool clears. TorZon has no control over the speed of the blockchain. Please check a block explorer before opening a ticket.
5. How do I withdraw my funds?
Navigate to the "Wallet" tab. Enter your destination address (ensure it is correct!) and your PIN code. Withdrawals are processed automatically by the batching daemon every 30 minutes.
Section II: Escrow & Order Management
6. Are all offers traded via Escrow? Official
All transactions will be under the protection of the escrow except for some exceptions of some vendors who also have FE (Finalize Early) permission in other markets (at least 2). Always check the "Escrow" badge on the listing.
7. When is the (Escrow) auto-finalize complete? Official
Orders are typically finalized after 14 days. The Basic customer can extend Escrow by 2 periods of 7 days each if they have not yet received their order. Premium customers can extend it by 3 periods.
8. What happens if the vendor rejects my order?
If a vendor cancels or rejects your order (e.g., out of stock), the funds are immediately returned to your market wallet. You can then withdraw them or purchase from another vendor.
9. How do I leave feedback?
You can only leave feedback after the order is "Finalized". Honest feedback helps the community. Please do not leave feedback related to shipping times if the delay was caused by the postal service, not the vendor.
Section III: Account Security & PGP
10. I lost my Password/PIN. Can you reset it?
No. For security reasons, TorZon admins cannot see or reset your passwords. If you have lost your login credentials and your mnemonic phrase (if provided), your account and funds are lost forever. This is a feature, not a bug.
11. Why is PGP mandatory for vendors?
Vendors hold sensitive address data. If a vendor account is hacked, buyers are at risk. Mandatory PGP 2FA ensures that even if a password is stolen, the hacker cannot login without the private key.
12. How do I solve the Clock Captcha?
Please refer to our dedicated Captcha Guide. In short: enter the characters starting from the 12 o'clock position moving clockwise.
13. Is TorZon accessible via I2P?
Currently, TorZon focuses on V3 Onion services. I2P support is on the roadmap for late 2025 but is not currently active.
Section IV: Vendor Guidelines
14. How much is the Vendor Bond?
The standard bond is $500 USD equivalent in crypto. This bond is refundable if you close your shop gracefully without active scams. Verified vendors from other markets (Recon, Dread verified) may apply for a bond waiver.
15. What is "Prohibited Goods"?
We strictly prohibit: Weapons, Poisons, Fentanyl, CP, Hitman services, and anything related to terrorism. Selling these items will result in an immediate IP ban and report to the community blacklist.
